Two street kids from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, reportedly ganged up to drag a prostitute to a secluded place at Centenary Park and undressed her before shoving a knife into her private parts.
One of the boys allegedly raped the prostitute before taking away her cellphone and money.
Chengetai Tauzeni, who resides at Centrenary Park appeared before Bulawayo magistrate, Mr Gladmore Mushowe facing two charges of robbery and rape.
It is the State's case as presented by the prosecutor Mr Kudakwashe Jaravaza that on 25 August at around 9.30pm, Tauzeni's friend, Desmond Ndimunyane, who is co-accused in the two cases, met the 21-year-old prostitute, at Waverly Night Club, in the city centre.
The court heard that the complainant is a sex worker and the accused persons decided to hire her services for an agreed fee.
It is alleged that Tauzeni produced a knife and demanded cash and a cellphone from the prostitute.
Out of fear, the 21-year-old surrendered her handbag containing US$5, a cellphone and a jersey valued at US$75.
Tauzeni went on to shove a knife inside her saying that prostitutes had a tendency of hiding cash inside there.
The court further heard that the two went on to tie the lady with a string before they forced her to stand up.
Ndimunyane allegedly forced her to have unprotected sex while his partner in crime watched.
The woman later managed to untie herself and ran for dear life.
A report was made to the police who managed to locate the suspects before they recovered property worth US$60.
The knife was also recovered and will be produced in court as exhibit.
The abused 21-year-old was medically examined and the results will be availed to the court when they are ready.
The accused were remanded in custody to 11 September.
