A 28-YEAR-OLD Harare man was on Thursday sentenced to perform 140 hours of community service at Tamuka Primary School after being convicted of assaulting his pregnant wife, whom he accused of delaying in opening the door for him last Sunday.
Albert Musiiwa had initially been sentenced to a seven-month prison term, three of which were suspended on condition of good behaviour and the remaining four on condition he performs the community service.
Musiiwa pleaded guilty to the assault charge when he appeared before Mbare magistrate Gladys Moyo.
