Residents of KwaMashu's C Section, north of Durban, Johannesburg, SA, tiptoe silently past a house they believe is haunted.
Neighbours insist that a ghost lives there, and a number of families who rented it from the new owner all moved out quickly!
And no one walks near the building at night.
Daily Sun was told that the original owner, Simon Zulu (60), was already preparing to sell the place while his late wife was lying in the mortuary.
She died in the house, which was bought three weeks after she was buried.
A neighbour said: "We told Simon not to sell the house so soon after his wife had died but he wouldn't listen.
"Now she comes back every night as a ghost. She goes to the kitchen and cleans the house, moving dishes around and only leaves in the early hours of the morning."
Simon, who has moved to Pietermaritzburg, said his wife and eight of his sons died in the house and he did not perform a cleansing ceremony for any of them.
He said: "I will do the cleansing ceremony when I have settled down in my new place."
