GhostSingles.com is dating website launched solely for ghosts looking for love.
Their easy-to-use search feature allows users to choose between ghosts of people who have died horribly, mysteriously, tragically or suddenly.
One user is Phantom4u, looking spritely as a spirit at the age of 134. On her profile, she writes: 'well ive been dead since like 1902 and im SO BORED!!!! i just wanna hang out and have fun and see what happens,not looking for anything serious.'
Meanwhile, lonely4ever is a more pessimistic 'ghostwriter'.
She says: 'So lonely… so alone… no tears to weep… alone.'
If one finds it difficult to connect with ghosts through their profiles, the website has a 'Chat Now' feature.
Humans have been strictly banned from the site, along with zombies and vampires.
The website recommends users avoid kissing on the first date because faces just pass through each other.
They also advise not to be too upset if a love interest suddenly disappears – after all, 'existence in the twilight realm can be inconsistent'.
The service is free if for those interested to join… only because the owners haven't figured out a way to charge ghosts yet.
