Man 'asks' traditional healer to kill girlfriend

Baba Mahlasela a sangoma (traditional healer) from Etwatwa, Daveyton, South Africa, claims that a man approached him asking him to kill his girlfriend.
He says he threw the bones and told his client, Busi Memela, 31, they showed a coffin, which meant someone wanted her dead.
Mahlasela says that he is the one who was supposed to carry out the evil deed!
Busi , said: “The sangoma asked me who I was. He threw bones and explained that a man had come to him in December last year, asking him to kill me because he’d found a new girlfriend and I was in the way.
“He described the man and I realised he was describing my boyfriend. “But the sangoma told me he refused to kill me because it would upset his ancestors.”
Busi confronted her boyfriend about the sangoma’s claims, but he denied them. They later broke up.
Mahlasela said: “I refused the man’s request because my ancestors would’ve punished me. I don’t want them walking away from me as I’ll lose everything.
“I’ve been a sangoma for many years. My purpose is to heal and not to kill, so I told the man to leave and never come here again.”
The boyfriend admitted he visited Mahlasela but denied he asked him to kill Busi.
