The unnamed child from Mzamomhle squatter camp in East London, Eastern Cape, South Africa, was born at Frere Hospital in 2010.
The baby was born with an open stomach and the intestines were not covered.
Nurses who were helping the mum of the child during labour, noticed the child had no private parts (anus, penis or vagina).
Doctors decided to do an operation on the stomach.
They made an opening so that the child could release urine and another one to pass faeces.
Doctors said the child has a womb and one kidney.
The child visits doctors at Frere Hospital for check-ups once a month.
The child's mum (31), told Daily Sun: "When I saw my child in hospital, I cried.
"I was praying to God to take this child because I have never seen something like this in my life."
The boy is supposed to be at creche but he can't because of a plastic bag that he has to carry with human waste from the body.
Teachers find it difficult to have him at the creche.
The mum's biggest wish is to see her child living like other children.
"I want my child to live and play like a normal boy," she said.
Monica said Muhle walks like a boy and has facial features like one.
She wants a specialist to operate on her child because the situation is going to be very difficult when the little boy is older.
She said it pains her when her child tries to imitate other kids when they urinate.
