Mugabe In Fire Fighting Spree, War Collaborator Meeting Next

President Robert Mugabe is set to meet liberation war ex-political prisoners, detainees and restrictees and modalities in a bid to thrush out infighting amongst Zanu PF.
In an interview in Bulawayo recently, the Minister for Welfare Services for War Veterans, War Collaborators and Ex-Political Detainees and Restrictees, Retired Colonel Tshinga Dube, confirmed the impending meeting.
However, Dube said, the date for the meeting has not been set.
Liberation war detainees, restrictees and collaborators were excluded an invitation to the gathering between the war vets and their patron promting to further divisions within the party.
Liberation war detainees and restrictees, are defined as those people who were imprisoned or restricted in Zimbabwe for a period of at least six months for political activity in connection with the bringing about Zimbabwe’s Independence.
