An accused suspect in the attempted Gushungo bombing has maintained that he had been tasked by his ZNA superiors in a military operation to trap the culprits.
Borman Ngwenya,30, said he kept a 'Major Mashava' informed on the operation which he claims targeted Owen Kuchata, who has since been jailed for the offence.
Ngwenya in the previous weeks requested for a printout of his telephone records to prove his communication with Major Mashava.
However, two police officers who apprehended Ngwenya argue that since he was a soldier, one way or the other he might have communicated with Major Mashava but on a different issue.
