Mugabe To Meet War Vets

President Robert Mugabe is set to attend a meeting with the Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association (ZNLWVA) to be held in Harare next week.
War Veterans Minister Christopher Mutsvangwa, whose chairmanship of the association has been challenged by a breakaway group led by Mandi Chimene, said the meeting that was supposed to be held this Friday at Harare City Sports Centre had been postponed to enable the President Mugabe to attend.
This meeting comes after war veterans were bashed by government security departments on their supposedly meeting of February 1.
