A Bulawayo Municipality worker left a local court dazzled when he said a sangoma instructed him to put a live bullet in his body lotion to prevent sudden death in his family.
Percy Chigora, 29, of Waterford suburb, who appeared before the courts facing charges of possesing a bullet without a fire arm licence revealed to the court that he sourced the bullet from South Africa following advice by the inyanga.
Chigora admited to the charges and narrated to the court that he was instructed by a traditional healer to use a live bullet, to ward death from his family.
These instructions, Chigora claimed, came after the death of his brother who was shot by robbers.
Chigora was fined $40 or 30 days imprisonment.
