Tutu in hospital for persistent infection

CAPE TOWN - South African social rights activist and retired Anglican bishop Desmond Tutu has checked into a local hospital where he will undergo a series of tests to discover the cause of a persistent infection.
The Desmond and Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation said his condition is not at all serious.
The foundation added Tutu was in high spirits before booking into hospital.
