Guardian attacks girl(12) for being raped

Police in Nigeria have arrested the guardian of a 12-year-old rape victim for allegedly torturing her and blamed her for "causing the rape".
Edwin Alagbaso reportedly used a razor blade, knife and an iron rod to punish the victim.
A 22-year-old man, Uche Chibueze, who raped the minor, was also arrested by the police.
On April 15, 2013, Chibueze claims to have had consensual sex with the minor.
Chibueze and the victim were taken back to Alagbaso's house. The guardian in a rage picked a knife and stabbed him in the palm.
Not done, he allegedly attacked the victim with an iron rod and knife.
The residents intervened and took her to the hospital.
Alagbaso claims that he beat the victim up to prevent her from being raped in future.
