When Ayanda Magoloza, 27, heard her sister scream, she immediately went her room.
She found her sister’s boyfriend at the door of the room and he calmly said: “Go and look at the dog I have just killed. And satisfy yourself that she is dead.”
He then walked out of the housein Katlehong, Ekurhuleni, South Africa.
Ayanda went into the bedroom and found the lifeless body of her sister, Vuyelwa Magoloza, 32, on the floor!
Blood was pouring from a gaping wound in the back of her neck where she had been stabbed.
On the floor lay a large, bloodied kitchen knife, allegedly the weapon used to kill Vuyelwa.
The suspect, 32, has not been seen since he walked out of the house.
Vuyelwa had told her sister she wanted to end the affair with the suspect but was afraid to do so.
“I never suspected anything because they lived together in a room of our parents’ house,” said Ayanda.
“They had been having serious problems and my sister said he often beat her and she had often told him to leave.” But she said there was nothing to make her think her sister’s life was in danger.
“He looked so calm,” she said. The couple had been living together since last year. A half-written protection order was found in the room. It appears she was preparing the document so that the police would make sure he kept away from the house.
The letter read in part: “He abused me physically, sexually and emotionally every week.”
Police spokesman Sergeant Rufus Tema confirmed the incident. He said a case of murder has been opened and the suspect is still at large.
