A trendy New York steakhouse aroused negative publicity when they called the police on an Italian tourist who had forgotten his wallet.
Grziussi, an Italian lawyer racked up a bill of $208.77 but then discovered he had forgotten his wallet at the hotel.
He apparently offered to leave his iPhone worth about $500 and go and get his wallet but the restaurant decided to call the police instead.
The police refused to escort him to his hotel to get the wallet reportedly saying that they were not a taxi service.
Needless to say, the judge dismissed the case and online commentators lampooned the poor customer service of the restaurant.
