Woman drags hubby's girlfriend to court

HARARE - A Mbare woman is at loggerheads with her husband's girlfriend whom she is accusing of spreading the rumours that she eloped eight times after sleeping with quite a number of kombi windis. The woman, Molly Chimutasha (22), dragged her husband's girlfriend Rumbidzai Mudekwe (22) who insults her over the phone on several occasions to court.
On the day in question, she was angered and reported the matter to the police seeking legal recourse. Rumbidzai was hauled before Mbare magistrate Precious Muzondo facing a charge of criminal insult but was fortunate to be strongly warned, cautioned and discharged after she pleaded guilty to the charge.
She told the court that she indded insulted her since she was the one who had begun the 'insulting game'.
Prosecutor Lawrence Gangarahwe had it that on 16 Manuary, Molly was at her place of residence when she received two insulting messages on her mobile phone from Rumbidzai of B 26 Charles Bicks Court in Mbare.
The message read: "Uri hure, wajaira kungosv**a nevarume vakawanda, mahwindi nema driver emakombi uye wakatizira kaeight saka hauzive baba vemwana wako (You are a prostitute. You slept with countless touts and you eloped eight times to the extent that you don't know the real father of your child).
