Elderly Man Disappears After Homestead Blaze

Lupane - Villagers of Dandanda village are in shock and confusion over the whereabouts of an elderly widower who disappeared following a blaze that gutted his homestead which occurred last Saturday.
It is reported that Khumalo was residing alone at the homestead following the death of his family members.
Last Saturday at around 7:30 pm a fire gutted the homestead however Khumalo was nowhere to be found.
Ashes believed to belong to Khumalo were found in one of the burnt huts. Speculations have risen as traditional leaders argued that the ashes were not human as no bones were recovered.
The causes of the fire or the whereabouts of Khumalo are still being investigated.
