Miyelani Magayisa, a heartbroken man in Bulawayo has demanded his $3000 lobola back after his sweetheart ditched her for a next door guy.

Magayisa paid the traditional lobola in December last year to Nyaradzai Mafaure family and were planning to wed in December.

However, Mafaure had other ideas as she fell in love with her neighbour known as Walter. Mafaure moved into her next door neighbour to co-habit.

Now Magayisa wasn't his money back but his temporal in-laws are not cooperating.

" I told them what happened by they showed no interest as such I was left with no choice but to demand back my money," said Magayisa.

His family members are set to travel to Masvingo for talks with Mafaure's family.

But Mafaure says she  the bunion was not going to last as she was forced into it.

" We used to be in relationship but I parted ways with him sometime back. Yes he paid lobola  for me but I was forced into it. I do not want him back anymore," she said.
