Model Primrose Crous 'disowns embarrassing family'

Businesswoman and model Primrose Crous gave her mum, Palesa, a car as a runabout, which Palesa then used when she allegedly tried to run over former SunBabe Jessica Mafayisa.
Palesa is currently out on R500 bail, but will be charged with attempted murder and crimen injuria when she appears later in the Welkom Magistrates Court.
Primrose said she sent the police to take the car away from her mum.
Primrose said: "I was advised by Palesa's husband to take it from her as it was seen to be the root cause of everything. I had to draw a line between my love for her and the trouble she is causing with it. "Taking the car was the best thing to do," she said.
The vehicle, which is now in the possession of the Welkom police, was given a price tag of R35000 (US$3,500) by Primrose.
Speaking to Daily Sun, Primrose said: "I am trying to live a private life and I do not want to be dragged into everything that those people are doing.
"I no longer want anything to do with the family, because all they have done is to involve my name in their shoddy dealings and cause me embarrassment," she said.
