South African TV presenter Boity Thulo's faced a string of bad publicity lately according to Drum magazine.
Drum reports that first it was a fight with supposed rival presenter Minnie Dlamini, and now she's taken off the gloves in a Twitter fight with Kuli Roberts, using profanity to refer to the journalist and former Headlines presenter.
In the same week as her foul-mouthed rant against Kuli, it came to light that after just one year, her contract as a brand ambassador for cosmetics label, Iman, was not being renewed.
The company announced, "It's with great sadness that we announce that we will not be renewing our contract with Boitumelo Thulo."
Drum suggests that Boity may be following in the footsteps of Nonhle Thema who was dropped by Dark and Lovely after her infamous tweets.
Boity and her management deny the rumours that she was dropped for her behaviour on Twitter.
"The decision was a mutual agreement between the two parties. We wanted more from the contract and they couldn't meet our demands," says Boity's manager Sean McCollet.
