Charlie Sheen's kids taken away from their mother

Charlie Sheen's twin boys were taken out of custody of their mother, Brooke Mueller late Thursday night.
Officials have reportedly deemed Mueller's home an "unsafe environment" for children, according to TMZ.
Sources tell the gossip site that the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services arrived at Mueller's home with a warrant and removed 4-year-old twin boys Bob and Max from the home.
A source close to Denise Richards confirmed to the New York Daily News that the two boys are currently residing with Sheen's ex-wife and mother of his two daughters.
"It just wasn't a stable environment with different nannies coming in and out, and child protective services came in and did their thing, and this is the outcome," a source close to Mueller told the Daily News.
"Brooke didn’t have a say in this. They came in, assessed the situation, asked Denise to take the boys, and Brooke agreed."
"Brooke is very grateful. She and Denise have always gotten along very well, and the boys are very close with their sisters. Brooke is very comfortable with this and very grateful to Denise for taking this on. There's no ill will there," the source said.
Mueller has struggled with drug use for years going in and out of rehab facilities and according to reports she is now suspected to be using again which caused the children to be taken from her.
Sources told TMZ that a court hearing has been set for next week to determine whose care the twins should permanently be in.
"Charlie supports the actions of the Department of Children and Family Services," a representative for the Sheen told the Daily News.
"He knows Max and Bob are safe and in a stable, loving environment with Denise and the boys's sisters. Charlie will fully cooperate and fully participate in all proceedings."
Reps for Mueller declined the Daily News' request for comment.
