Vice president Phelekezela Mphoko, who has been staying in a five star hotel, was questioned yesterday in the National Assembly over his extravagance at the expense of starving Zimbabweans.
Mabvuku-Tafara MP, James Maridadi challenged Mphoko to explain his nearly 15 month stay in the hotel.
Before Mphoko could reply, Jacob Mudenda,Speaker of the National Assembly advised the MDC-T legislator to put his question in writing.
Mphoko seemed eager to respond and kept beckoning to the Speaker that he wanted to give a response, but Mudenda did not allow him to go ahead.
