Teacher Nabbed For Writing Girlfriend's Maths Exam

Three Zideco College teachers have appeared in court accused of conniving to let their friend sit an O Level Maths exam for his girlfriend.

The Kwekwe based trio, Canaan Gombe, Wellington Masiiwa and Courage Nyathi, appeared in court for contravening the Zimsec Act.

It is alleged that, Gombe, wrote answers for his girlfriend,Chenesai Charumbira, and gave her the paper to copy the answers on her own hand writing.

Charumbira made a mistake and submitted the note she was given with answers to the invigilator, leading to their ploy being unearthed

The three pleaded not guilty and were remanded out of custody to March 11 on $50 bail each.
