Man Who Stabbed Maid Over Sex Seeks Bail

A man who appeared in court for stabbing a maid 10 times for refusing his proposed love for her is back again in the courts seeking bail on the pending trial.
The Gwabalanda based, Vincent Chikowore, 24, has made an application to the Bulawayo High courts appealing for his release from Khami remand Prison.
It is alleged that, Chikowore landed in remand when his plea for a sexual encounter with his family's maid, Dudzai Hungwe, was denied by the now deceased.
This led Chikowore to lash out with anger and stab Hungwe 10 times.
In his filled documents, Chikowore's lawyers sighted that there is no need for their client to be held behind bars as he would not prejudice the case.
The prosecutor sighted that Chikowore was a flight risk and might abscond the trial if released from remand.
