Man rapes girlfriend’s daughter (11)

A Chirumhanzu man raped his girlfriend’s daughter (11) for
the whole night after finding her home alone.
James Chirwa (37) of Mbedzi village in Chirumhanzu, appeared before a Gweru magistrate facing one count of rape
It is alleged sometime around November, Chirwa went to search for his girlfriend, the victim’s mother, at her homestead.
On finding that the minor was alone, it is alleged that Chirwa forced himself on the child and raped her numerous times before threatening her not to tell anyone.
The girl revealed the matter to her aunt leading to the perpetrators arrest.
He pleaded not guilty and was remanded in custody to 8 February
