The 20-year-old woman who was murdered and her
body left in a wheelie-bin for weeks has been identified as Dieketseng Lebete.
The late Dieketseng's boyfriend, Thapelo Saila (24), whose unborn baby died with Dieketseng, found the letter when he went through her belongings on Tuesday.
The letter which she titled "My life" is like her own obituary.
In the letter the eight-month pregnant woman explained to her boyfriend how she was hurt after losing their first baby and tells how she prayed to fall pregnant again.
The letter said she was happy to be pregnant and looking forward to starting a family as Mrs Saila.
Thapelo's pain was made worse when he found out the man who shared hugs with Dieketseng when they met in the street was the alleged killer.
Dieketseng had been missing for two months when her body was found in the bin.
Her decomposing body was found in a dustbin by community patrollers at phase 9 in Mangaung.
Her head was covered with a plastic bag and her feet tied with rope.
Thapelo admitted that Dieketseng had been cheating.
"She would disappear for a week or two but she would always come back," he said.
"When she went missing two months ago I only told her sister. We never reported the matter, hoping she would come back."
After receiving news of her death on Tuesday, Thapelo went through her clothes and found the letter.
"Maybe she was predicting her death in the letter," said Thapelo.
Police spokeswoman Lieutenant-Colonel Thandi Mambo said: "The dead woman was found wearing a pair of black jeans, a black coat and red and black shoes. A suspect (36) was arrested and will appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court soon on a murder charge.
