Gangsters caused chaos at Motherwell Cemetery in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, SA, by spinning cars and playing loud music.
They were in the company of women dressed in miniskirts and booze flowed freely.
Dust filled the air as the gangsters started spinning their cars and shooting in the air 'in honour' of their dead member.
When cops arrived, a gunfight broke out.
One of the spinning cars' tyres was shot at and the driver lost control, crashing into a mourner's pick up truck.
Many funerals had to be delayed as cops tried to arrest the gang.
The thugs continued to cause trouble, playing kwaito music as their friend's coffin descended into the ground.
One of the mourners at the cemetery, Cikizwa Kantolo (53), told Daily Sun: "I have never in my life seen something like this.
"A funeral with no Bible and young people dressed as if they were at a party. There was no pastor, choir, only dozens of drunk young people.
"All the other mourners had to stop their funerals to duck bullets and spinning cars.
"As we were crying for our family members, these kids were dancing."
Police spokeswoman Warrant Officer Thembi Gwe said: "A 34-year-old man was arrested for attempted murder after causing chaos at the graveyard.
"Many funerals were disrupted.
"We will not tolerate this at funerals and we'll make sure that unruly mourners are arrested."
