Man (41) arrested after raping neighbour's 3-year-old daughter

A 41-year-old man from Nkulumane suburb in Zimbabwe allegedly detained his neighbour's three year old daughter for the whole night and raped her.
The man, Innocent Jiyane, appeared before Mr Willard Maphios Moyo of Western Commonage magistrate courts and was remanded in custody to 12 September.
The court was told that on 24 August at about midnight, Jiyane made way into his neighbour's house and took the three year old girl to his bedroom after her (complainant)'s sisters had fallen asleep.
The court heard that when the complainant's sister woke up in the morning, she realised that her young sister was not there.
She reportedly started looking around and at that moment, it is said that the little girl came back bleeding and told her sister what transpired.
A report was made to the police and Jiyane was arrested.
