A bus driver who insisted on being carried through thigh high water by a fireman has been suspended in China.
Driver Feng Wu refused to leave his cab to walk to safety because he didn't want to get his feet wet.
Feng was one of seven rescued by fire fighter Zhang Liying, 23, after torrential rains caused a flash flood in Zigong, Sichuan province.
However, he was the only one who demanded to have a piggy back through the water.
Feng's antics infuriated social network users in China who've branded him lazy and cowardly.
"Who does he think he is that he has to be carried?" said one.
"He's bigger and taller than the poor fire fighter carrying him. What a coward.
"There were children, old people, and women all walking through the water. Why is he so special?"
Bus officials - embarrassed by the public row - have suspended Feng for 'rash driving' pending an inquiry.
