Hungry homeless man bites off man's ear in a supermarket

A hungry 24-year-old homeless man bit off a victim's ear after attacking him in a Florida supermarket.
Rotilio Carranza was left clutching a blood-soaked towel to his head after the brutal assault in the Azteca store in Immokalee last Thursday.
He claims he was minding his own business when Alexis Santiago - whom he had never met before - tried to start a fight.
When Carranza tried to leave, he says the thug locked his jaws onto his head and ripped off his ear.
Santiago ran from the scene but was picked up soon after by cops. He was charged with aggravated battery and resisting arrest.
Carranza was taken to Physician's Regional Hospital for treatment, local station WTSP reported
