A North Carolina mother called police on her son to have him arrested - for stealing her Pop-Tarts.
Police in Charlotte say Latasha Renee Love, 37, called authorities to report that her Pop-tarts had been stolen by her juvenile son.
She took the drastic step after having disciplinary problems with the boy in the past, said officers.
Police arrested the son and charged him with misdemeanor larceny, reports WNCN-TV News.
Charlotte police valued the missing Pop-Tarts at $5, the equivalent of £3.30, according to a police report.
Ms Love is declining to comment to the press.
