Five men, Stabiliser Kadafi, Nobert Muzhingi, Thabani Mashonganyika, Sikhumbuzo Madhuveko and Mangisi Mutandavari from Kadoma have appeared at the High Court facing charges of murder alleged to have happened in 2008.
The state alleges the five murdered the deceased after assaulting him accusing him of being a political sell out and being a state witness in an assault case against them during the 2008 Presidential run-off elections.
They are alleged to have taken the deceased to a bush near Chidhuri Buffalo Beer Hall in Kadoma before assaulting him.
It is further understood that the five followed the now deceased to his home where they found him lying on the floor and assaulted him for the second time.
They apparently left him after realising he had difficulties in breathing and died on the same day due to injuries sustained in the attack.
