Zimbabwean DJ speaks about working with Kwaito legend Mandoza

Zimbabwean DJ Stavo is currently making waves on Channel O with his video, 'Mnandi', which features the legendary Kwaito artist Mandoza.
The Kwekwe-born artist's video features the legendary Kwaito artist Mandoza.
Another video, 'Sweet Love', features Roki and ExQ (Exqwizit) and is circulating rapidly on the underground circuit and receiving love on Youtube.
He had an interview with Zimbo Jam We and DJ Stavo (Steven Wayne Sanders) was born in Kwekweand did his primary school in Kwekwe and secondary in Gweru.
He says he started DJaying in 1998 and immediately fell in love with the response from the crowd and decided to go professional in 2012.
"I released my first track entitled 'Take Me There' in June that year and this was followed in September by my first music video called 'Sweet Love' which features Roki and Exqwizit."
On working with Mandoza DJ Stavo said: "I was inspired when Mandoza did a collaboration with a Namibian artist called EES and he went on to win the 2010 Channel O awards for Best Kwaito Artist. I approached Mandoza and he listened to my work and was impressed.
"So when I went to South Africa I called him up and asked to do collaboration with him he agreed with no fuss. The next thing I knew we were shooting the video.
"I must say that has been the highlight of my career so far and it was a great honour working with a Kwaito legend."
On the 19th of June 2013 DJ Stavo became the first artist in Zimbabwe to launch an application for Android devices where fans can now follow him on their mobile devices and download all his music for free.
